The Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue turns up the heat and tunes into the rhythm in “Top 40 Tease,” a powerhouse burlesque show at 8:00 p.m. (doors at 7:00 p.m.) Thursday, September 4 at 29th Street Ballroom, 2906 Fruth St. in Austin, Texas.

Your favorite hits just got hotter. “Top 40 Tease” brings pop, rock, and radio royalty to life in a burlesque revue glistening with glamour and attitude! From glam rock to modern pop, this show is a glitter-drenched love letter to the music that moves us. 

Starring national guest Miss AuroraBoobRealis (NYC) and your beloved cast of Jigglewatts icons: Ruby Joule, Jolie Goodnight, Ruby Lamb, Something Blue, Alexander The Great and Selma Bawdy, joined by special guest Hibiscus Bloom.

The countdown is on, every beat bringing us closer to a night of high-gloss glamour and body-rocking burlesque! Whether you get down to pop anthems, rock ballads, or disco fevers, “Top 40 Tease” brings a pulse-pounding soundtrack wrapped in rhinestones and attitude.

The Jigglewatts’ ongoing residency at 29th Street Ballroom features live music, comedy, drag, variety, and world-class burlesque performances in a swanky cabaret setting. The Jigglewatts Burlesque is a perfect match for this jewel-box of a space where floor to ceiling velvet curtains, and an artfully appointed stage add to the immersive experience. Guests can also look forward to saucy door prizes and goodie bags from Forbidden Fruit boutique. With the longest continuously running burlesque show in Texas, The Jigglewatts are a slice of classic weird Austin.

Join our special guest, Miss AuroraBoobRealis, an award winning interdisciplinary performing artist and recipient of the Sassy Lassy award from the Burlesque Hall of Fame, to explore improvisation as an extension of who you are as a burlesque performer. Through guided journaling, discussion and lots of improv exercises you will expand your tool kit and strengthen your connection to the essential you on stage.
